Do you accept my dental insurance?
We work with most major carriers, including Delta Dental, Blue Cross Blue Shield, MetLife, Cigna, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, Guardian and Humana, plus employer plans such as Bank of America, Novant Health, Union County Public Schools and Lancaster County Central Schools. Call (704) 550-3980 with your plan name and we will confirm.
Do you speak Spanish?
Yes. The doctors and the team speak English and Spanish, so you can explain what you are feeling in the language you think in, and understand every step of your treatment in it too.
I am nervous about the dentist. What are my options?
Tell us when you book, not when you arrive. That lets us set aside a longer appointment, walk you through each step before it happens, and go at your pace. Conscious sedation is available here: you stay awake and able to respond, without the discomfort and tension of treatment, and without the heavier side effects and recovery of general anesthesia.
Do you see children?
Yes. Sylvana Chimenti, DMD, is a family dentist and sees children of every age, alongside their parents, so a family can be seen in one place. Most children should have an exam and prophylaxis twice a year, with x-rays once a year. Starting early keeps problems small and lets a child get used to the dental chair long before they ever need treatment.
What if I have a dental emergency?
Call the office at (704) 550-3980, or stop by and we will be glad to see you. Severe pain, a broken or knocked-out tooth, a lost crown, swelling or bleeding that will not stop all count. Call or come in rather than using the form.
What if I do not have insurance?
We see patients without insurance. Ask about CareCredit, Cherry or our own Elite Dental Plan to spread the cost of treatment.
